The Cabinet, during its meeting on December 24,2024 approved an “Easy E-Receipt 2.0” program, proposed by the Ministry of Finance to allow taxpayers to receive a tax deduction up to 50,000 Baht for purchasing goods and services with the E-Tax invoice or E-Receipt. It will be effective from January 16 to February 28,2025 under this program.
Taxpayers can deduct up to 30,000 Baht from buying general goods and services, including OTOP products, as well as goods and services purchased from community enterprises and social enterprises.
If the spending exceeds 30,000 Baht, the deduction for purchase of products and services from the OTOP program, community  and social enterprise will be an additional up to 20,000 Baht.
E-Tax invoice or E-Receipt need to have the full name and Tax ID of the taxpayers, and can be any address stated.
Please note that the purchase will not include alcoholic drinks, tobacco, vehicle fuel and gas,vehicles, public utilities, water & electricity bills, telephone charge, internet service, long-term service fees, non-life insurance, tourism services, hotel services, homestay services and accommodation that are not hotels.
